On the hill facing Chora, you can see twelve traditional windmills. The mills are kept in good condition and some of them have been preserved and are open to visitors.
Ios is located between Naxos, Sikinos and Santorini. The whitewashed villages and the beautiful sandy beaches will fascinate you. In the late 60s, Ios became a popular destination for young tourists, especially for hippies, who chose Mylopotas beach to camp in groups.
